This training is designed for anyone who wants to start programming in Python. Instead of diving directly into data analysis or advanced applications, this course focuses on the basic principles of programming. You will learn to work with Python by practicing fundamental concepts such as data types, operators, for-loops, if-statements, and functions. At the end of the training, there will be an opportunity to briefly become acquainted with reading and exploring simple datasets.The training is practical in nature and offers an accessible introduction to Python. You will work in Jupyter Notebooks and have the chance to engage with small programming exercises. The emphasis is on understanding the logic behind programming, so you can lay a solid foundation for further development.

Prerequisites
No programming knowledge is required. General computer skills are sufficient. During the training, you need a laptop on which you can install software. We work with Anaconda (https://www.anaconda.com/products/individual), which gives you easy access to Python and Jupyter Notebooks.
