What is AI for Business and Government
Artificial Intelligence (AI) will play an increasingly important role in all sectors, which means that not only more AI specialists need to be trained, but all other professionals also need a good foundation of AI. The Dutch AI Coalition (NL AIC) has developed the ‘AI for Business and Government’ certification. The certification is obtained by successfully passing an exam. The Dutch AI Coalition (NL AIC) ‘AI for Business and Government’ certification:
- Is for the professional in the broadest sense of the word. It is accessible and intended to reach higher vocational trained staff.
- Focuses on the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in business. What can you do with it? How can you use it in your field of work? And how can you set up your organization to make use of AI? The in-depth knowledge about the technical development of AI is not part of ‘AI for Business and Government’.
- Is based on widely accepted scientific insights and contains all elements relevant to the application of AI.
- Is intended as a standard level of knowledge in the field of applying AI. It is the intention that this standard gives direction to training organizations so that professionals are trained in accordance with an agreed standard from Dutch society, represented by the NL AIC.
- Creates a standard for the level of knowledge in the AI application that has value for the job market and for professionals and organizations looking for qualified professionals.

The certification ‘AI for Business and Government’ is obtained by successfully passing an exam. The official certification of the exam offers the employer the guarantee that the employee actually possesses the knowledge and skills that are being tested. It also offers the employee recognition and more value in the labor market. The NL AIC has chosen Van Haren Learning Solutions as an independent certification organization.
During this training you need a laptop with access to internet.
